With over 75 years of combined experience,
our NGA certified technicians install glass using the latest fast
cure adhesive technology for the ultimate in customer safety. We
currently have eight installers who are all certified by the National Glass Association as
master technicians.
Auto Glass Technician Certification is the examination, the method of measuring the competency level of an installer's technical knowledge. NGA offers study/training materials tailored to each level's exam specifications. However, training remains a separate, optional function. Training teaches knowledge, while certification measures it.
Companies with NGA-certified installers gain:
- recognition and verification of our installers' knowledge and skills in the auto glass industry
- a way to assure consumers our installers know how to do the job right-the first time
- an employee evaluation tool
- increased credibility and validity of our company's services
To become certified by the NGA, all candidates must:
- complete the required work experience within the industry
- submit a Skills/Experience Registration form
- be familiar with all skills areas for the level of certification desired
- receive a passing score on their test
- recertify three years from the original date of certification
